Meet Theresa

Training is delivered by Theresa Brownlie, who has around 30 years of training experience and more than 15 years working within health and social care training.

Theresa understands what happens during a busy shift and what staff need to feel confident in practice. Her approach is warm, down-to-earth and non-judgemental, creating a safe environment where people can ask questions, reflect honestly and build their skills.

About Theresa Brownlie

I have around 30 years of training experience and more than 15 years working within health and social care training. I created Who Cares to provide practical, engaging learning that helps staff feel confident—not judged—and keeps the person receiving care at the centre of every decision.

My sessions connect legislation and good practice with the realities of a busy care environment. I encourage open discussion, practical learning and honest reflection so that staff understand not only what they should do, but why it matters.

I work directly with managers to understand their service, their team and any areas of concern. This allows me to make the training relevant while maintaining clear learning outcomes and appropriate assessment evidence.

Training That Feels Different

Training should not feel like a tick-box exercise. It should feel relevant, supportive and connected to the situations staff face every day.

Who Cares complements e-learning by bringing important subjects to life through discussion, practical activities and realistic scenarios. The aim is not simply to complete training, but to help people remember it, use it and understand why it matters.

THE EXPERIENCE

All training is aligned with CQC standards and supports inspection readiness.

I bring a warm, down-to-earth approach to every session, listening, adapting and delivering training that works in real care environments.
